Any professional woman working in the addiction/recovery field is welcome to join WAAT. We encourage our members to invite other professional women in the field that they know to join us.
Becoming a member is easy! You can download the membership application from this website, complete it and submit it to the address indicated on the form along with your new member dues. You can also join at a meeting by asking the membership chairwoman of that meeting for an application and paying your dues then.
Renewal reminders will be emailed to you at the email address listed on your membership profile. Each renewal fee must be accompanied by a membership application. Reminders are automatically sent 30 days prior to your expiration date. A second courtesy notice is sent on the date of your expiration. If your dues have not been received by the 15th day following your expiration, access to the website will be restricted and the full fee to join will be required. You will receive a notice informing you. All memberships are good for one year and expire on the first day of the month you joined.
There are many benefits to joining. The opportunity to meet and network with top women in the addiction field, informative speaker presentations on current trends and issues in the addiction field, CEUs or professional development hours, access to the "Members Only" section of our website, access to our membership directory, listing in our resource guide and the opportunity to list upcoming events and workshops in our calendar.
